Mom's homemade banana strawberry ice cream.

It’s time for a birthday post. Sort of. My birthday is coming soon, but I won’t be posting anything on it because it falls on an off day. I thought about writing a longish post reflecting on the past year and other birthday-type musings, but I didn’t feel like it. I’d rather post something that’ll make me smile to look back on. I also want to do something that’ll energize me and set me up to write, which is more than likely what I’ll be doing on my birthday. Of course, this means that I put together an awesome playlist on Spotify.

If you’re familiar with my writing habits, you know how much I love writing to music. Playlists are my thing. So click the link below if you want to enjoy some music with me. There are a lot of songs on this playlist that I identify really well with and others that I simply like listening to because their vibes fit with the fantasy I write. It’s a fuster cluck (see what I did there?😂) that includes a range of genres. Not all songs will have themes suitable for kids and most people probably won’t even enjoy this selection, so proceed at your own risk.

I also put together a playlist of songs that, for various reasons, just make me happy. Not that the songs on the first playlist don’t make me happy. The ones on the second playlist are just a bit brighter overall, at least in my weird mind. I probably won’t listen to this second playlist while I write, but if you need a pick-me-up, this might be for you. Yes, it’s almost as eclectic as the first playlist. Same cautions apply.

I do not own the rights to any of the songs in the playlists above. All rights belong to their respective owners and I am not attempting to (and I do not) make money off of them or claim them as my own.
