“Oh, nothing much. I just wanted
to see how you were. Last time we
talked, you weren’t doing so great,
so I just wanted to check in again.”

My aunt had MS and used to only answer "Fine" and when pressed she'd say "nobody wants to hear about it anyway."
ReplyDeleteI'm sorry so many people experience that.. feel that..
I'm so sorry to hear that your aunt had MS, and that she felt so isolated. That must have been incredibly difficult for you both. It is very sad how rampant that sense of disconnection and isolation is.
DeleteI totally understand. I've been alone my entire life, as far as the physical goes, anyway...until I had my last child. Her and I connected...Though, like me...She also walks alone in the physical, unless we are sharing the moments together. May the great spirit always comfort and guide you <3 so that you may never truly be alone.
ReplyDeleteSame to you. Thank you for connecting <3
