The past several weeks have been extremely hectic, and I doubt the following weeks of this year will be any different unless I land a stable job before 2021 ends. My mother and I are in the middle of a forced relocation and a job hunt. We needed to leave anyway, so there are silver linings. I just wish we were already on our feet, but I have faith that everything will be okay. Im going to continue easing up on my blog posts on my author website for at least another month, but I did want to share a few updates.

The first of those updates is the conclusion of my Halloween Review Spree. I’m so glad I managed to pull it off this year. Thank you again to all the authors and publishers who participated! It was a blast, and there were so many wonderful books. Fortunately, I finished the majority of the reviews before everything got crazy. I mentioned that I might showcase my favorite reads of the spree, but I have not yet come to a decision on that. To check out my reviews for the spree, please click here.

Next on my list of updates is my GoFundMe. I’d rather just have a job so I can rely on my own income (and because I enjoy working), but because companies haven’t been getting back to me about my applications even when I reach out to them (except one, but they went silent after I completed the assessments they sent me), I decided it would be best to set up a GoFundMe to help with expenses for our relocation and essentials (gas, food, etc.) for the time being. If you’d like to help out and are able to, please consider supporting us through my fundraiser here. Or, even better, if you’re hiring or you know of someone who is, please let me know.

A couple of people have mentioned they’d like to support me and my work through Buy Me a Coffee or Ko-Fi. I’m still on the bench about which service is best for me, and there’s so much else going on that I may not have time to make a decision until everything is sorted out. Because of this, the best way to support me at this time is through my GoFundMe.

And that’s a wrap for now. I’m sending a huge THANK YOU and big hugs to all those who have supported me so far. If I don’t get to post before November is through, know that I’m wishing you all a lovely and safe Thanksgiving.
